NOTES: Zebra grass, a cultivar of Chinese silvergrass, is a favorite among the ornamental grasses. Native to eastern Asia throughout most of China, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea.

There is considerable disagreement with the naming of this plant at the variety level. Plant name is not accepted by ITIS / USDA
